Amelia is a nationally award winning sugar artist and has been featured locally as well as nationally.  She has been featured in publications such as

In addition, she has recently been a lead contestant on TLC’s Ultimate Cake Off. Amelia and her team competed for a $10,000 prize and the chance to have their cake showcased at a premier event. The episode was entitled “Fairy Tale Wedding” and was called “the most intense Ultimate Cake Off ever!”

Amelia has also had the honor of receiving the prizes for 2008 third runner up and 2009 fourth runner up in the Grand National Wedding Cake Competition, which gives her the ranking of one of the best cake decorators in the country.

She teaches basic and advanced cake decorating techniques, and was chosen as one of 26 hands-on instructors for the 2010 ICES (International Cake Exploration Society) convention in San Diego, California.

She is also the co-founder of Cake Fu, an online community for teaching and sharing basic to advanced cake decorating tips and techniques.
